Harry Clarke at the intersection of stained-glass craft and Symbolist illustration.
How Heavenly Fair — Harry Clarke
Clarke brought the intensity of stained-glass design into everything he touched — the obsessive linework, the jewel-tone palette, the sense that every figure is lit from within. How Heavenly Fair is Clarke at his most decorative and most controlled, an image that rewards close looking. Dublin-born, dead at 41, never out of print.
